With regards to the "Citation Needed" for the "openly gay" reference, Keith had an interview may 29th 2003 with the St. Petersburgh Time's Gina Vivinetto that mentions his boyfriend Mark. I don't know how to add the citation, here is a link to the interview:

Why would you want to merge into the B-52's article one of the founders of the band. And have the other 3 still have articles. Reject. --MarsRover (talk) 08:56, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
