The propaganda should be deleted[edit]

Russia had weeks to give as pictures/videos or at least any names (if there was such church, they would surely guide journos/UN people there?). As of destruction, I'd like to see, say, sattelite images from the UN. --84.234.60.154 (talk) 22:39, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This propaganda story was probably invented, but we need reliable sources that tell: "it was fabricated". I do not know such.Biophys (talk) 00:41, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps RFE/RL, Echo, Jamestown, etc have something on this? --Russavia Dialogue Stalk me 04:42, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We rather need a relaible source saying "it was confirmed" - otherwise it should be deleted. If any of this (bloodthirsty Georgians raping, torturing, burning alive people, eating babies while sieg-heiling each other) was true, Russian propaganda (AKA Russia Today) would broadcast it 24/7 for three weeks now, with images and videos (you only need a modern cell phone nowadays) and names, not to mention sending there any foreign journalist venturing into North Ossetia. Meanwhile, Reuters only says they killed 8 people and captured 4[1] (probably militiamen who were among those swapped for Georgian civilians later[2]). --84.234.60.154 (talk) 10:59, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And, 84.234.60.154, of course, your implying that any sources that are not anti-Russian or anti-Ossetia are not reliable has nothing to do with that you're probably Ingush (based on your elaborate contributions to Ingushetia related articles) and that Ingushs hate Ossetians (who, they think, took their land) and Russians (who, they think, helped Ossetians took that land), right? Category removed[edit]

I've removed the Georgia village category from the article, to follow Kosovo articles. These articles are still placed in the Georgia category at the article level. --Tovarishch Komissar Dialogue Stalk me 21:25, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Russian Regnum" and "British Reuters"[edit]

I agree with Pocopocopocopoco - just stop that silliness with "Russian agency Regnum" and "British Reuters". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Speaking fish (talkcontribs) 02:18, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
