Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because he is considered the forerunner of biomedical research in Bangladesh, I will soon provide reliable reference about that. He has invented several technologies that are being used by universities in Singapore, England and Korea because of their low cost and longevity. He has been awarded the Academy Gold Medal by the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences in 2008. The reference is here. Here is an article in the most circulated newspaper of Bangladesh citing his national award. Here is a link from the same newspaper about his invention of a new method for water purification. Here is another article in the Daily Star about how he developed an artificial hand for a poor girl with limited resources of Bangladesh. Please do not delete this artile, I can enlarge this article even more in one week. -- Khan Muhammad (talk) 22:10, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Most importantly he has been considered one of the forerunners of the Focused Impedance Measurement method. I have 2 references to it, please check them before you decide anything. -- Khan Muhammad (talk) 22:28, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Those references may not be enough to support the notability of the FIM article. Are there sources indicating someone else's independent research on FIM or an outside review of Prof. Rabbani's work?--Martin Berka (talk) 16:21, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
