Saw CNN post one of these from https://twitter.com/SLMPD it may be useful to archive and cite them for "according to" statements. So far I see reports about two cops hospitalized from thrown bricks. Tear gas deployed. Windows broken. ScratchMarshall (talk) 04:10, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Why does the "Black Lives Matter" ("BLM") theme box, with links, appear at the bottom of this Wiki article? There is no reference to BLM in the article, and BLM does not appear in the list of article Categories.
The presence of the BLM theme box strikes me as a political comment, and therefore violates Wikipedia's required "Neutral Point of View".

I just Googled the guy's name and "black lives matter" [1] and I see various news results mentioning both of them together. So I suppose it fits. DreamFocus 04:24, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That is more of a forced pairing into Google search. Heyyouoverthere (talk) 13:30, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You can click the news results and read them. DreamFocus 23:33, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I did. And like I said, a forced pairing. Heyyouoverthere (talk) 06:42, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Is it really that much of a stretch to think that Black Lives Matter would protest the acquittal of a police shooting case involving a black guy? The recent "White Allies March" for white supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement should just be further evidence of this. FallingGravity 08:16, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The box is DUE if BLM was involved in the protests. Please restore it as long as that's referenced!Zigzig20s (talk) 05:31, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Correction: As long as BLM does not appear in the text, the box should not be included. Is anyone able to find RS about this please?Zigzig20s (talk) 22:13, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Shooting of Andy Lopez which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 18:49, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
