Merge from Kino precision[edit]

The result of the AfD debate on Kino precision Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kino precision was to merge that article into this one. Note that there is no new information from that article to merge so I have merely changed it to a redirect. It was noted in the AfD that it seemed unusual to merge the company into the brand name but that was the consensus. Any proposal to merge this page back to the parent company and make the redirect point to the company should be discussed on the talk page before proceeding. Thank you!

Not Minolta's patent[edit]

The article implies Minolta invented autofocus, they did not, Honeywell did: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9F0CE3DB1631F931A1575BC0A964958260 , although Kiron may have licensed from Minolta before the lawsuit was settled. Suggest simply removing "Minolta" since the history of autofocus is beyond the scope of this page. Mattman944 (talk) 05:30, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
