Name[edit]

@Paul 012: Hello, I ran into a bit of a difficulty here. I wanted to rename this page to "Klon (poetry)" which you already have created at Klon (poetry), and which links to a Klon section at Thai poetry. However, Klon/Kon is not unique to Thailand/Central Thai culture but also exists in Lao/Isan culture. What should we do with this Glawn page, it's name and "Klon (poetry)"? --Glennznl (talk) 19:09, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'd completely forgotten that this page existed. I've tagged the redirect for G6 speedy deletion. Ideally, Klon (poetry) would be a standalone article covering both languages and linked as a sub-article from the Thai poetry#Klon section using {{main}} (or if separate coverage for each language is desired, a disambiguation page linking to each). Unless you're planning to write a new article in place of the stub, I'd tweak the description to reflect the wider scope and copy a bit of the more detailed description from the Thai poetry article. --Paul_012 (talk) 19:24, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Paul 012: I just ran into this page since I've been busy cleaning up the Isan, Lao and Thai language articles, but I really have no knowledge at all about poetry or music, so I won't attempt writing an article about it. I think your solution would work, and then mark it as "Expansion needed". --Glennznl (talk) 19:41, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Done now. --Paul_012 (talk) 07:41, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
