Guangming Shan Pujue Chan Si Temple[edit]

If following standard Mandarin pronunciation and Hanyu Pinyin romanisation, the temple should be called Guangming Shan Pujue Chan Si Temple. --Atitarev (talk) 00:53, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy Needed[edit]

User:Linrx added controversy section without adding any relevant information, a quick search of the major news portals of the island revealed that the monastery only appeared in the news during major events such as Vesak Day, however it is a fact that this is one of the two richest Buddhist monasteries or Buddhist temples on the island. If a temple deals with that much money and yet is without any major scandal or the slightest of legal wrangle, this article is either a hoax i.e. add the hoax tag, or it is beyond me. 138.75.188.73 (talk) 09:12, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A controversy section with no content is not a controversy to me, so I removed that section altogether. If there is relevant content, please feel free to put it back in. unkx80 (talk) 02:34, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm reverting to a version prior to additions by User:Linrx as it seems a lot of original research and unsourced claims seems to have been added, for example, "...became popular following post-independence Singapore due to the consultation sought by then prime minister Lee Kuan Yew on matters pertaining to fengshui..."; a particular POV at "It has gradually also become a major hot pot for commercialisation since implementing a corporate office and starting a retail business Awareness Place while also accepting female monastics". --Lemongirl942 (talk) 03:29, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
