No neutral POV and other issues[edit]

The beginning of the biography section and some other parts are clearly written from a sympathetic and non-neutral POV ("always stood up to the ideals of the Bulgarian people and has placed their interest first"; "made a historical landmark").

The claim: "On 3 November 2019, Kostadin and "Revival" went on a run-off vote for the mayor position in Varna (the 3rd largest city in Bulgaria) and accumulated close to 40% of the total vote" is inaccurate. According to Bulgaria's Central Voting Commision's site, on the first round of the election the party accumulated 14.30% of the total vote, while on the run-offs it achieved 35.99%.[1]

The claim: "Revival" (in Bulgarian "Възраждане") made a historical landmark in its as of then 5 year history (since 2015) as Kostadin Kostadinov managed to nearly double his votes and attract nation-wide support on the second election on 3 November 2019" is also misleading. This was not a separate election, rather the run-offs of the same local elections. The "doubling of votes" refers to the results only in the city of Varna (from 14.30% in the first round to 35.99% in the run-offs). The "nation-wide support" implies major victories across the whole country, while the reality is even listed at the end of the article - 1 mayor, and the rest being only mayoral advisors in a few local parliaments.

This figure has a record of many controversies in Bulgaria, yet no "Controversies" section is present.--IcoK97 (talk) 19:22, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nickname[edit]

Happy to discuss its inclusion or removal. I'd say is pretty well-sourced and definitely the subject matter of a number of non-trivial publications. We could remove it though and simply point out that the general public is of the opinion he receives funding directly from Russia.--Laveol T 19:43, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
