Fanpov tag[edit]

Hello @Jmertel23 @Dgpop @JeBonSer (and others), thank you for reviewing this page. I would like to address the "Fanpov" tag issue: I can understand its implementation because I too wondered if the historians who had written its notice for the museum (Link in French: https://augustins.org/fr/search-notice/detail/2005-2-1-dame-t-c98be ) were not a bit too enthusiastic in their description. It is likely that the "rediscovery" of this work of art only a few years ago (it has always been on top of monuments, far from any possible study, and the memory of its symbolism as an allegory had been practically lost) and the work of restoration and research in the archives has obviously very favorably surprised them, so the qualifiers as "exceptional" are not mine but those of the historians. I think we can probably reduce the appreciation, but we should be careful not to lose the information on the uniqueness and innovation of this statue. What do you think about it? Changes made to tone down the glowing qualifiers in the text. As a result I removed the tag "fanpov" (to be re-evaluated by other readers than me). --Frédéric Neupont (talk) 13:19, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
