Rewrite needed[edit]

This article probably needs a complete rewrite. Most of it is written as how-to content or advice for a tenant, in a person manner using 'we' and 'you' rather than from an objective point of view. In addition, it appears to consist mostly of original research, as it severely lacks references. If these problems are not fixed, this article should be nominated for deletion. Landlord HarassmentLandlord harassment

Per WP:CAPS ("Wikipedia avoids unnecessary capitalization") and WP:TITLE, this is a generic, common term, not a propriety or commercial term, so the article title should be downcased. Lowercase will match the formatting of related article titles.

That is, IF this article is worth retaining. Tony (talk) 11:40, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jurisdiction where this legal concept is in force?[edit]

I can't see any explicit mention of the jurisdictions where this legal concept has been in force. All or some of the commonwealth nations? US and England? Canada and Australia? Other jurisdictions?205.237.45.18 (talk) 21:44, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Not just the idea but there are specific statements about the law in the article and it's not clear which law is being referred to. IsiahBerlin235 (talk) 21:51, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Landlord Harassment[edit]

This is my first time commenting on a Wikipedia article. Your guidance is requested.

I am a Landlord, and in the last year, I have been harassed repeatedly by tenants, up to and including sexual harassment in my own home. I now have complex PTSD which came about in part from tenant harassment.

I discovered this article while looking for common ground with other Landlords. Perhaps it should be called "Tenant Harassment". I am prepared to draft an article about "Landlord Harassment". Your feedback is welcomed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.63.154.102 (talk) 19:23, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Going ahead with creation of your proposed "Landlord Harassment" entry seems problematic. Before undertaking this, study the Wikipedia policy and guidelines sections on themes like "Neutral Point of View" and "No original research". And look at the criteria for creation of a new entry.
