"being tested positive " Couldn't we just say "testing positive"?
I think you've got at least one misspelling of Rio de Janeiro in the background section?
The lead makes it sound like he was the original bronze medallist in both events before being disqualified, when it clearly wasn't the case
Tell us how many runners overall for both track events.
"athat he was tested " Lose the excess a, and change was to had.
Did the CAS "quash" his appeal, or did they merely deny it?
