Inclusion criteria[edit]

To anyone watching; should people like Brian Dean be included as he suffered a fatal heart attack whilst on the way back from a shout? The point here is semantics; can someone be listed as killed if they have a medical episode, or did the stress of the shout contribute to his death? Thoughts? Regards. John Raven[edit]

It seems that a Hertfordshire firefighter is missing from the list. Can someone help with adding John Raven who was killed at a warehouse fire Welham Green Hatfield in August 1975. http://www.theonlinebookcompany.com/OnlineBooks/FirefighterMemorialTrust/Celebrations/FirefighterMemorial/3616 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.170.202.44 (talk) 20:37, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've added him CT55555 (talk) 15:19, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lancashire Fire and Rescue[edit]

John Singleton is not on the list. He died fighting a fire in Blackpool 5/5/90.. 92.2.140.229 (talk) 14:09, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you can find a supporting reference then please go ahead and add him to the list. 10mmsocket (talk) 15:37, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Missing entry[edit]

The list includes a firefighter who committed suicide in duty. Therefore the list is incomplete because there was a serving Station Officer in the then Dyfed Fire Brigade who in the 1980's while on duty returned home to his Fire Brigade provided house (as he was entitled to do so during his lunch break due to his duty roster conditions of service) and committed suicide in the provided house while on duty that day. 2A00:23C7:7990:4201:7F5F:379D:EB12:FE0B (talk) 19:01, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a name? The joy of all things (talk) 19:28, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Robin Neill[edit]

Leading firefighter Robin Neill is not on the list. He was a part-time firefighter for Northern Ireland Fire Brigade and was killed during a well rescue on a farm on 9th September 1995.

You are very welcome to find a suitable reference to support Nicholson's sad death and add it yourself to the article. Or find the reference, bring it back here and I'm sure someone will be glad to help you. 10mmsocket (talk) 18:17, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
