Posthumous appearance[edit]

I saw (in episode 34, season 1) that Don C. Harvey played the congressman and, comparing dates, had died by the time this episode aired. The message you are reading incorporates information from IMDB. Carlm0404 (talk) 08:46, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rank[edit]

@Jpear9595 and Entercontainment: This article and McHale's Navy were in Category:Pages with script errors due to the {{rank}} added on 18 September 2021. I removed that to fix the error. Please work out what is wanted but that template is not suitable here. Johnuniq (talk) 03:50, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Johnuniq, thank you for contacting me, however I didn't have anything to do with a "rank" inclusion. Thanks for fixing the problem, though. EntercontainmentEntercontainment (talk) 14:55, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I know, but I thought you might want to work out what was intended and think about whether the idea (if implemented correctly) would be desirable. It was apparently an attempt to insert a ranking that I know nothing about. Anyway, that's up to people working on this topic. Johnuniq (talk) 00:00, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

One Time PT-73 outsmarted themseves![edit]

1/4 PT-73 Where are you?

PT 73 Gunner's Mate, loses the 73 while taking a nightly ride to charm an island girl. Binghamton finds out and is ready to have McHale in front of a court martial. The crew arranges for a "replacement" [Carpender PT-116 disguised as PT-73] so they can take a week's R&R trip to New Caledonia. Things get complicated when Virgil comes back with the 73! LAter Carpender's crew comes back with PT-73 disguised as PT-116! Binghampton is so frustated he orders McHale to go out on R & R. HOwever McHale's crew dont have enough time to switch the PTs around again-as a result McHales Crew has to go on vacation without their beer! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.49.133.163 (talk) 17:45, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
