"This list encompasses castles described in German as Castle (castle), Festung (fort/fortress), Palace (manor house) and Palace/Palast (palace). Many German castles after the middle ages were mainly built as royal or ducal palaces rather than as a fortified building."

This paragraph contains a confusing mix of English and German terms. I doesn't make any sense to me. The description has to be more clear. Maybe this article could serve as an example: List of castles in Germany. Kindest /EriFr (talk) 21:05, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
