As far as I can tell, the listed composers all belong to the world of "classical music" (though they may belong to several worlds, like Scott Joplin). What about composers outside Western music, and what about songwriters? To be concrete, I was thinking about adding Cole Porter (Kevin Kline) and Irving Berlin (Keith Allen) in De-Lovely. But then, we'd need to think about adding composers who were more famous as performing musicians such as Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie in Bird, Jim Morrison and Robby Krieger in The Doors, or various people in My Dinner with Jimi, and probably many many more ...
