PLEASE move all and newer converts to the table[edit]

It has been done like this on other lists but only a few users seem to follow the table creation. This is very annoying as users can create very idiosyncratic descriptions without the table. --HejTuWou (talk) 13:33, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Job Charnock[edit]

Is there any credible sources on Job Charnock's conversion to Hinduism? On his biographical page it states that it may have been just a myth. Jamesniederle (talk) 21:12, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jamesniederle, there is none like many of the entries added by a group of editors with a vendetta. Job Charnock married a local girl but it does not mean he converted from Christianity to Hinduism. Bringtar (talk) 06:25, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Removed failed verifications[edit]

I have made some changes to the article and removed the entries which failed to verify that they converted from Christianity or was a Christian and became Hindu. If you find anything wrong in my edits then I am open for discussion here. Thank you. --Bringtar (talk) 14:02, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An IP recently introduced few news names to the list without checking the guidelines. For living person, self-admission is needed and conversion from X to Y has to be mentioned by a reliable source. I am thus removing the following entries:

1. Trevor Hall - source doesn't mention that he has converted from Christianity.

2. Satyananda Stokes - sources doesn't mention any converstion

3. Russell Brand - no mention of conversion from Christianity to Hinduism

4. Kelli Williams - both sources are unreliable and no self-admission by the subject

5. K. J. Yesudas - no mention of conversion from Christianity to Hinduism

6. John McLaughlin - no mention of conversion from Christianity to Hinduism

7. Jerry Garcia - no mention of conversion from Christianity to Hinduism

8. J. D. Salinger - no mention of conversion from Christianity to Hinduism

9. J Mascis - no mention of conversion from Christianity to Hinduism

10. Elizabeth Gilbert - no mention of conversion from Christianity to Hinduism
