Wrong numbers

There's something wrong with the numbers in the "Europe" section. The total seems to be 240, instead of 260. Also, the table has two blocks with countries that have "4" billionaires. Finally, the number of Dutch billionaires seems to be - or has changed to - "5" and there's also a source available that's not mentioned. That's for your information, because I'm not going to change it, since the article contains too many errors. (Who knows what else is wrong...) --82.171.70.54 (talk) 14:01, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

In addition, I found another mismatch and that is, China, which in the list of top ten nations is listed second by 64 billionaires, and the same China is listed first in Asia region by 79 billionaires. Either 64 or 79 is incorrect; but since I have no information, I didn't change anything. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Haghshenas m a (talkcontribs) 13:42, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

The Africa Section states: 1. Egypt; 1. South Africa; 3. Nigeria. It should instead state: 1. Egypt; 2. South Africa; 3. Nigeria. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.169.116.140 (talk) 15:46, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

There are different numbers for billonaires of the USA in different tables. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:810A:C40:3674:DC94:ACB0:667A:A75D (talk) 19:03, 6 March 2015 (UTC)

There are sources that say that China actually has 609 billionaires, topping the United State's 552. http://globalchinesephilanthropy.org/gcpi/report/178332

Sunday Times or Forbes

Before an edit war ensues over this issue, I propose we have two columns: one from Forbes and one from Sunday Times. Jolly Ω Janner 18:17, 22 March 2017 (UTC)

Yes I support this move. Many other Wikipedia articles have multiple columns based on different sources. Adamgerber80 (talk) 18:50, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
I can't access the Sunday Times' list but doesn't it only include the UK's wealthiest? Given the huge gap between Forbes' UK figure and the Sunday Times', I wouldn't at all say they are comparable. What exactly is wrong with Forbes' list that we can't use it for the UK? Why is the UK currently an exception in this list here? Filpro (talk) 22:14, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
Filpro, I would recommend this. Keep the 2016 list intact. It contains both Sunday times and Forbes. Add a new list for 2017 as with only Forbes. If someones else wants to add Sunday times then the onus is on them. I think the reason other editors reverted your edit was because you replaced the 2016 list with 2017. This would ensure we are not removing any cited data but only adding on latest data. Hope this works. Adamgerber80 (talk) 22:49, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
Adamgerber80, I feel like this would give the wrong impression to a viewer. It would seem as if the number of billionaires in the UK somehow dropped significantly in one year when this isn't the case. Perhaps we wait until Sunday Times releases their 2017 list? I still don't understand why Forbes' figure for the UK isn't satisfactory. If another source is needed, it must include other countries too, not just the UK. Filpro (talk) 23:53, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
The way I view this is we can add Forbes 2017 as it is. It is on the discretion of the viewer to determine which list he/her trusts more. I am not in support of combining the Sunday Times 2017 List with Forbes 2017 List. There are different methodologies used by either of them to compile their list. When the Sunday Times List does come out we can add an addendum for UK to the Forbes List to say that Sunday Times claims this vs Forbes. I agree with you UK should not be treated as an exception here. Then there would be other editors wanting to add their own exceptions based on other sources. But let's not touch the 2016 list for now. It can be there for the viewer as well. Adamgerber80 (talk) 01:13, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

World Rank Sorting error

When attempting to sort the table by World Rank, the sort is "1, 10, 11..." instead of "1, 2, 3..." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nostril585129 (talkcontribs) 21:59, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

Aliko Dangote is the richest person in Africa

Nicky Oppenheimer was placed as the richest person in Africa instead of Dangote. A really huge mistake was made and it really needs to be updated.

-As of 2014 Oppenheimer's net worth was over $6.8 billion. -As of 2014 Dangote's net worth was over $20 billion making him the 21st richest person then.

As of 2017 Dangote had a net worth of over $12.7 billion still making the richest person in Nigeria and Africa. Slug like you (talk) 09:47, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
