Move to list of lighthouses in Oregon?[edit]

Seems List of lighthouses in Oregon would be consistent with the other lighthouse lists by state, and would allow the inclusion of the other lighthouses currently referenced in the See also section. ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:22, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

When I created this, the original purpose was simply this. A list of lighthouses from north to south. Because WP:USEFUL. Although I'm rather attached to this as it stands, since it's been altered so much to include a table and pics, it make sense to go ahead and add the others and move the list. It would be nice to make it clear which ones are on the coast and which were on the river. For the tourists. Maybe separate sections. Valfontis (talk) 01:32, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of lighthouses on the Oregon CoastList of lighthouses in Oregon – For consistency with other lists of lighthouses in U.S. states (see Category:Lists of lighthouses in the United States) and for better coordination within developing List of lighthouses in the United States. Per the discussion above, I edited the list-article to add a separate section for the inland lighthouses. (By the way, the ordering along the coastline is very sensible, while most or all separated-out other state lists are ordered alphabetically so far, which is going to take work to change.) doncram 02:00, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support Moving this article and incorporating the other two lighthouses into it has been pending on my back burner for some years. It is likely the creator was not aware of non-coastal Oregon lighthouses. —EncMstr (talk) 19:04, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
