Question[edit]

Mausoleums is/was the correct (dominant) form of the plural in English[edit]

It appears that the article name change was justified by the assertion: "incorrect plural of mausoleum". In a quick check of 2 of my dictionaries, both Websters New World (2nd college ed.) and The American Heritage (new college ed.) show mausoleums given as 1st choice for plural. A Google search in English gives approx ratio of 12:1 mausoleums (~630k) to mausolea (~53k).

So, the justification for changing this article name appears to rest on poor research. I intend to revert this change (as well as the reference/text on "Mausoleum") unless some valid objections can be raised.--RCEberwein | Talk 04:02, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Caption referring to Rachel's Tomb was Highly POV[edit]

Center formatting[edit]

Why are all the galleries centered? If galleries were supposed to be centered, the functionality would have been built into the gallery format. If there are no objections, I'll remove all the "center" formatting. Rklawton (talk) 15:25, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

I propose limiting inclusion on this list to mausolea with articles. Simply saying "This is a list of mausolea around the world" makes the article's topic far too broad. In short, we need to draw the line somewhere, so where? Rklawton (talk) 04:29, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
