A note from the creator of this page[edit]

I realise that this article is far from perfect, but I thought that as Gary Barlow has written so many songs for others, it needed its own page. Please update this page and bring it up to Wikipedias high standards. All information can be found on Gary Barlow's official website where he has a list of all the songs he has written. The combined size of the two articles is currently a bit short of 20,000 bytes. Generally speaking, at that size, length alone does not justify a separate article. Given that this list is only 2,000 bytes in size, it certainly does not belong in an article of its own: there is something amiss in the main article. -- Blanchardb -^{Me•MyEars•MyMouth}- timed 09:08, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy and WP[edit]

I have just spent a whole weekend checking the list of songs there were listed before I completely re-jigged the list. before the change I noted there were:-

Songs that were not written by Gary Barlow.
Songs which were co-written by others and this article was leading people to suggest that Barlow was the sole writer.

So before putting together the new alphabetical list, I checked every entry, primarily with ASCAP, or AMG, Where I can, I have referenced the entries, I have used faith when the primary culprit of adding incorrect is not involved in the album articles and no information can be gleaned from ASCAP/AMG. That left a handful of songs which I could not verify and those songs have been removed along with those that Barlow did not write.

I have also placed a note comparing the deliberate placing of inaccurate information and vandalism are much the same thing on the users page. Cheers. --Richhoncho (talk) 12:53, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
