Hi,

This article is out of date and is need of an update. However, as I have WP:COI as a paid editor for Outcast, a firm that represents Lyft. Therefore, all my work should be independently reviewed and approved.

Requested changes in the new draft include:

-Lyft in 300 cities, not 60
-18.7 million rides a month, not 10 million total to date
-Number of employees now at 1000
-Capital raised is $2 billion
-Added sub-section explaining Zimride renamed Lyft
-Brought award from Personal Life section to Reception
-Added naming to Vanity Fair New Establishment List

Here are the sections with changes, so the sections can be reviewed individually:

Logan Green is the co-founder and CEO of Lyft, a peer-to-peer ride sharing company, which he founded with John Zimmer in 2012. ^[1] Lyft operates in more than 300 cities,^[2] and provides 18.7 million shared rides a month.^[3] The company has raised $2 billion in funding and employees about 1000 people, as of late 2016.^[4] Lyft grew out of Zimride, a ride share company founded by Green and Zimmer in 2007.^[5]^[6]

- Renaming

In May of 2013, Green officially changed the name of the company from Zimride to Lyft.^[4] The change from Zimride to Lyft was the result of a hackathon that sought a means of daily engagement with its users, instead of once or twice a year.^[7]

- Awards and Honors

In 2009, Green and Zimmer were named finalists in Business Week’s list of “America’s Best Young Entrepreneurs.”

In 2014, Green and Zimmer were named in Inc. Magazine’s “35 Under 35 list.” Green and Zimmer were named in Fortune’s “40 Under 40” list in 2015^[8] and on Vanity Fair’s “New Establishment” list in 2016.^[9]

Understanding Why Edits Keep Getting Reverted[edit]

To the "Personal Life" section, I added context that father-in-law is "former billionaire" but it keeps getting deleted.

Also, I added a source for the name of the father-in-law, but the source/reference keeps getting deleted. Why would wikipedia not want to have a source for a fact it provides? See page 186 of the following URL: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1759509/000119312519059849/d633517ds1.htm

If you're referring to this edit, I reverted it because you made several non-helpful changes in that edit. If you'd like to re-add a particular line that is appropriately sourced, you're welcome to do so, but please don't make other mass changes in the same edit that break with format and convention.
