lol, how did u know i was planning a massive expansion of this page? r u stalking me lol.
anyway, ppl forget that port is there in england, alot of ppl r not even aware of it in medway.

Just nosing about ;) I checked out the German page and was surprised at its expanse, the situation is usually the opposite in relation to such articles. Pickle 21:56, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
How embarrassing. Since no knowledgeable locals have fixed this in over a year, I've taken the liberty of running the German article through Babelfish and converting to English as she is spoke. I'll own up to not having a clue as to the accuracy of the text (though I did once hitch to the BP refinery in the 70s, so I can at least confirm that it existed). I'm fairly sure that it had the honour of processing the first North Sea crude to come ashore in about 1975, and it closed as the focus of the oil industry shifted north. The problem is we have no references to check, and anything else would be OR. The bits I can do, need a complete rewrite rather than a tweak and other statements do seem to be fantasy rather than fact. The way forward does seem to be to gather a citation for each sentence. However- it does make a nice photo.ClemRutter (talk) 10:02, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think fantasy is a little harsh - are there any specific facts which you think are suspect? The two facts for which I have added refs today were correct in the German article. I'm currently having a wikibreak so have not got time to do further checking at present. Pterre (talk) 10:47, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I feel honoured by the praise for "my" German article on Thamesport. But I'm afraid I can't reconstruct all the sources I used to write it in 2005. Using references (sadly) wasn't common back then :/ --GeorgR (de) (talk) 21:41, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
