notability[edit]

With regard to the article's notability (which was contested in the first, one sentence version but not the subsequent longer version of the article), LM Seidman clearly meets the notability standards for academics, as found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_%28academics%29

Specifically, Seidman meets criteria 1 "The person's research has made significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources." (see fora.tv reference) and criteria 5 "The person holds or has held a named chair appointment or "Distinguished Professor" appointment at a major institution of higher education and research" (he holds a named professorship at Georgetown University).

Tone[edit]

The entire tone of the article is self-congratulatory. It sounds completely biased. --THE FOUNDERS INTENT PRAISE 01:27, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

he opposes the united states constitution[edit]

i think this is a hopelessly vague statement and ought be changed to something like, "He opposes literal interpretation of the United States Constitution" or "He opposes Originalism (the idea that the Constitution ought to be interpreted literally)" or "he is an advocate of a Living Constitution" or something around that, based on reading the citation given. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.156.89.32 (talk) 15:06, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
