Fuel type query[edit]

I came to this article from a link on Royal Blue (B&O train) referring to exotic fuel. This article makes reference to distillate. Does this mean gasoline/petrol rather than diesel, or some other fuel? Could someone clarify this for me, and possibly incorporate this clarification into these articles? It is not diesel, it is not gasoline/petrol. It is distillate. It is a different fraction of petroleum than diesel or gasoline.
