Wikification and rating[edit]

I've rated this article as 'Start' class, and in the process, created two new sections for this article to distinguish between Scheinin's work as an academic in Finland and Italy, and his work for the UN. I plan to expand further by adding more details on:

  1. His career, past and current research projects, as well as the results and outcomes of his research;
  2. His work for the UN, appointments and scope, as well as any outcomes of this work.

I also intend to clean up redlinks, either by appropriate re-pointing of links, or where necessary, creation of new articles to address uncovered subject matter. For the time being, I've added this article to WikiProjects Law at low-class. Please feel free to revise this and the article ratings if you consider doing so to be justified. Any assistance in this would be appreciated. – Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 21:08, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Communist?[edit]

"He worked for the Marxist-Leninist political party Finnish People's Democratic League and rose among communist ranks to become a member of the Central Committee of the Finnish Communist Party. Today he is a Professor of Public International Law at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, and an expert of international law, human rights and constitutional law."

Where is the substantiation? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.186.185.49 (talk) 14:32, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The evidence for Scheinin´s 1980s Communist past (which he has admitted himself) has been added several times but mysteriously this fact keeps getting removed, including once by a user named ilari.scheinin (what a curious coincidence!) --Jaakko Sivonen (talk) 09:55, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
