Content too promotional[edit]

Please can you explain what you mean by too promotional please?
I've been on this page and spent time removing everything I felt was promotional from looking at previous edits.

I've even tried to tidy up refernces - see current ref #2 is poorly formatted. I thought mine were well referenced and written.
