Metropol Parasol → Setas de Sevilla – This name change reflects both the common name and the current official name and is vastly more recognizable.

"Setas de Sevilla" has been the project's official name since opening [1]. Tourist-facing information is all "Setas de Sevilla" [2] (in English material as well, also on English Google Maps). Few even recognize the old name [3]. All newspapers use "Las Setas" [4][5][6], "Setas de Sevilla" [7], or "Las Setas de la Encarnación" [8], only occasionally briefly mentioning the project's initial title.

Another option would be to use the title Las Setas (or even just Setas), which is the most common name.

Oppose Most of the citations given are spanish language sources which aren't counted to determine WP:COMMONNAME in English. I'm seeing more English language sources using the former name, eg. [9][10][11] (t · c) buidhe 06:34, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Purpose?[edit]
