Disputed[edit]

The section about her late years, her death and burial place are disputed as stated by Murat Bardakçı, who claims to have copies of documents originating from US governmental offices and museums.--CeeGee 12:56, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, let’s get access to these documents ! If Mr. Bardakçı (whose published books are of considerable historical interest) cannot substantiate his allegations, the template should be removed forthwith.
Today is Mihri Müşfik Hanım’s 131st birthday. It is well known that Mihri Müşfik Hanım was destitute during the last years of her life in New York. The alleged documents originating from “US governmental offices and museums” may simply be the ongoing Hart Island Project. Following her death as a pauper in New York, where else would she have been buried ? Hirpex (talk) 11:49, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
