Thanks and kindly requested additions[edit]

Srnec thank you for your contribution and your corrections. You do an amazing job thank you.

[1] Could you please add that St. Miles is mentioned in the illuminated manuscript Menologion of Basil II (Manuscript Vat. gr. 1613) page 179. In that page except the life of St. Miles in few words (title in Greek Ἄθλησις τῶν ἁγίων μαρτύρων Μίλη, ἐπισκόπου, καὶ μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ Ἐβόρη, πἀπα καἰ Σεβόη, διακόνου), there is also the oldest surviving depiction of the mardyrdom of St. Miles and his two disciples. St. Miles is vested as bishop wearing a Omophorion. He is balding with white hair and a white beard.

[2] There is one notable person today who is bearing the name of St. Miles. He is Mar Meelis Zaia AM (Classical Syriac: ܡܝܠܣ ܙܝܐ), who is currently the Metropolitan of the Assyrian Church of the East (Classical Syriac: ܥܕܬܐ ܕܡܕܢܚܐ ܕܐܬܘܖ̈ܝܐ), presiding over the Diocese of Australia, New Zealand and Lebanon.

[3] And lastly, could you please add again in the Saint infobox, the title "Saint Miles" instead of plain "Miles" (similarly to all the Saints of the church which have the title "Saint" in their Wikipedia pages ( e.g. Gregory of Nazianzus, John Chrysostom etc.) Thank you again and keep up the good work.

[1] and [3] done, but I was unable to find a source that says that Meelis Zaia is named after the martyr, although it is obviously the same name (ܡܝܠܣ). Srnec (talk) 23:40, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Eusebius[edit]

I cannot find a secondary source that identifies the Persian bishop at Tyre in 335 with Miles, although it makes sense. Srnec (talk) 03:05, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
