Note that flooding on the Lower Mississippi preceded flooding on the Middle and Upper Mississippi; hence, the use of “Floods” in the page title. I recommend using Lower, Middle, and Upper Mississippi River as major section headings. I’m familiar with locations and events on the Lower Mississippi River. Help with descriptions of flooding on the Middle and Upper Mississippi River would be appreciated.

Please document flood events on major tributaries, such as the Tennessee River, on their own page and reference the contribution to Mississippi River Floods on this page.--MississippiRiverRat (talk) 05:18, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Does the Yazoo Backwater Area deserve it's own wiki page? If so, the 2019 Flood is only part of the 80+ year story. Opinions? --MississippiRiverRat (talk) 21:39, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Activist adding his photo to these pages[edit]

I fail to see how this person's photos add any sort of significance to these flood pages other than to self-gratify. Therefore I'm removing them.RTShadow (talk) 03:03, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
