Short name[edit]

@Kasper2006: : why do you short the name of the athlete? IAAF and Fidal don't. Yours.Enzino (talk) 12:05, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

because two names (a name and a surname) are used to recognize the athlete. see for example Ayomide Folorunso she also has four. --Kasper2006 (talk) 16:06, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I know quite well about names, but you don’t answer. In all competitions, all the 3 parts of the "cognome" is part of entry list, and even written on his chest.--Enzino (talk) 22:03, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Often, especially the less known athletes, they are indicated with more than two names even in the rankings of the events. I can not tell you exactly what is the convention on Wikipedia, I can tell you that in Italy those with more names are only identified with two (do a search on Google). I would say that the title of the voice of other Wikipedia can also make text. --Kasper2006 (talk) 01:17, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
