NPOV[edit]

Quoting an unnamed resident is very POV and not in keeping with wikpedia's NPOV policy. If there is any report on differences between the alternative culture people and town conservatives, that needs to be expressed more neutrally and referenced.Julia Rossi 01:03, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Woolworths[edit]

This new section is quite unencyclopedic; WP:NOTSOAPBOX. The section either needs a rewrite to provide a more balanced POV or it will be removed. Even then, I don't think it will be particularly noteworthy. The source that is cited does not appear to be from a third party and will be removed unless the section becomes more balanced. Also, the section lacks time context; when did these events occur and at what stage is the development up to. It would be more appropriate to wait until the project is finalised or put a clear, balanced statement of what stage the project is at. Bleakcomb (talk) 03:55, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vaccination rate[edit]

I believe it should be noted somewhere that Mullumbimby has the lowest vaccination rate in all of Australia. Thoughts? - Akievsky (talk) 14:36, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not surprising - the region recently defeated another attempt to have the drinking water fluoridated if I'm not mistaken. That part of the country has a lot of New Agers and alternative lifestyle types who think anything that is not "natural" is not safe. I don't see any harm in adding this info to the article. Worth mentioning. Doctorhawkes (talk) 21:07, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a "Health" section - comments and criticisms welcome. Akievsky (talk) 21:24, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I have given it a tweak or two to reflect the sources a little more closely, and formatted the references. Gatoclass (talk) 09:14, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also added a line on fluoridation. Gatoclass (talk) 09:48, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the improvements! Akievsky (talk) 11:48, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
