Rollback[edit]

I rolled back several paragraphs that had been added today because the information was unsourced, and included rumours that implicated the biographies of living persons policy. LAND DEALINGS WITHIN THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF KISUMU[edit]

The people of Syokimau are still counting on their losses and pondering on their next move. A similar situation is about to be experienced in Kisumu on a parcel belonging to the county council of Kisumu. In October 2010 the Clerk to Kisumu County Council had put a CAVEAT EMPTOR notice in the Standard News Paper warning the public against buying or dealing in any way on parcel number 314 Kanyakwar ‘A’ Measuring 20.5 hectares citing that it belonged to the county council of Kisumu .

Secretly without the knowledge of the council or the council’s resolution or the minister’s approval he wrote a secret letter to the lands registrar and copied to the Mwalimu Sacco stating that the council laid no claim on the same parcel.

During the same period the parcel was transferred to a Mr. Philip Ochieng and finally sold to Mwalimu Sacco.

This parcel has since been subdivided and sold to innocent individuals who have started development.

It is only your committee that can assist in this situation by ordering an investigation into how the parcel was transferred from the council to Mr. Philip Ochieng and finally to Mwalimu Sacco.
