The article includes a claim of significance sufficient to ward off speedy deletion as WP:CSD#A7, but beyond that, there is no evidence that the subject is notable. Only two references are provided, and both are self-published sources. He invented a notable drug, yes, but notability is not inherited — the fact that his invention is notable doesn't make him notable.
