Ancestry[edit]

I have moved this ahnentafel here because it is not supported by any sources what so ever and as can be seen by this recent edit, by 213.30.96.102 it is still being filled out without any reliable sources being added.

I have been editing the article Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr, in that article there are four children listed with reliable sources. There is a fifth child listed "Martha (born 1615), who married William Woodward" but the source:

  • "Martha West". www.geneall.net. Retrieved December 2013. {{cite web}}: Check date values in: |accessdate= (help)

is not a reliable one (WP:SOURCES). The editor who added the Martha (born 1615) information to Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr article is the same IP adddress that added it here (213.30.96.102)

I came to this article to have a look for the sources used to support the inclusion of Martha West (born 1615), only to find that the sources for this article are more of a mess than those of Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr.

Come on people it is the inclusion of un-reliabley-sourced speculative information that gave Wikipedia a bad name as a source that can be used by students. All of the information in this article for which reliable sources can not be found quickly should be removed from article space, until such time as verifiable reliable sources are provided. -- PBS (talk) 14:12, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the following:

- Martha West was 50 years old at the time of this Martha Woodward's birth, therefore, Martha West can not be the mother of Martha Woodward.

- William Woodward and Martha West did have a daughter named Martha Woodward, but she married John Biggers.

- If this Martha Woodward is indeed related to William Woodward and Martha West, she would more than likely be their granddaughter.
