Article name[edit]

Should this article be moved to T-League - which is the only non-sponsored name the league has had? (As per other league articles (A-League, Sheffield Shield, Australian domestic limited-overs cricket tournament, etc) and Australian stadium articles (Stadium Australia, Docklands Stadium, etc) -- Chuq (talk) 04:05, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your probably right. Victory T-League so article should probably be T-League with main sponsor declared as Melbourne Victory or "Victory" hence Victory T-League.Simione001 (talk) 04:19, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the combined phrase, "Victory T-League" has ever been used before, so it would be creating our own term.. I think T-League as main article and Victory League redirecting to it? -- Chuq (talk) 12:48, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

State league not national league[edit]

Because of the fact it is a state-based league not a national league this has several implications: 1. It means nationally it is a tear 2 league (under the A-League) not a tier 1 league (info box requires correction). See Australian soccer league system for details. 2. Because all clubs come from the same state having little state flags against each club seem unnecessary and illogical. 3. The Top Level Sport Competitions in Australia and Top Level AFC Football Competitions templates is illogical because it is NOT a top level league (see point 1). 4. Tasmanian based templates such as top level Tasmanian Competitions, Association Football in Tasmania ARE relevant. These suggestions do make sense. However I thought the reason it was listed as a tier 1 league was because there is no promotion-relegation between the T-League and the A-League? -- Chuq (talk) 07:11, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The North American Soccer League has no promotion or relegation to [[MLS] but is designated a lower level in the pyramid. Similarly to USL Pro. Also see Australian soccer league system. There is no promotion and relegation at most levels in Australia but they can't all be tier 1. Similarly there will be no promotion and relegation between the SPL, NPL and Victory league next year. This won't make the SPL and NPL tier 1 leagues. I will make these changes, as soon as I get time.--TinTin (talk) 06:08, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A section on applications for 2016[edit]

Do you think it is worthy to have a section or sub-section detailing the requirement of Glenorchy and Launceston City to reapply for league membership in 2016 and also include the number of alternate applicants (eg.
