Talk:New York State Theatre Institute

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NYSTI is an important theatre in Upstate New York that brings quality professional productions to schools and the community. I don't understand why it is not valid to make a wikipedia article about a professional theatre that has Tony Award winning Actors directing shows once a year (Ron Holgate), and other renowned theatre professionals (Patricia Birch). This article is cited correctly.

Please specify why you have marked it for speedy deletion. I don't understand.

I made some additions and subtractions to the page to make it "less biased" as you say. Hopefully you like the changes. Otherwise, let me know, and I will attempt to add some more reasons why this company deserves to have an encyclopedic page on all their achievements. Awards, theatre celebs, what more could you need to be worthy of a wikipage?

One suggestion to make the article less biased: get rid of the "Mission" section altogether, and instead write, based only on third-party sources, how the mission has been achieved in the past. --70.80.199.161 (talk) 00:06, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The website not working, the link is broken... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.195.231.162 (talk) 14:40, 7 February 2011 (UTC) There are documents to prove everything included in the sections questioned are legit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stelluch (talkcontribs) 20:00, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
