Dealing with hoaxes[edit]

Please, provide reliable sources about your statements. At that time ethnic Macedonians still didn't exist. Did such battle ever occured? Such battle in Skopie or in the area never occured. In the Skopie revolutionary district the revolutionary activity during the Ilinden uprising was symbolic. IMRO in the area was totally unprepared for military actions and failed to gain support among the local population. This article is science fiction. You can check here. 16:04, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

The only sentence I could find in the article about the Ilinden Uprising is: On August 14, bands near Skopje attacked and derailed a military train. In the source, I have provided above, this attack is described as follows: На 22 юли четата на Пушкаров се настанила в манастира „Св. Иван” над с. Ветърско, близо до мястото, където р. Пчиня се влива във Вардара. От там могло да се следи движението по ж. п. линия. От манастира четата се преместила при с. Новачене и на 1 август вдигнала във въздуха един военен влак с 32 вагона. С бомби били нападнати два поста над моста. Rough translation: "On July 22, the band of Pushkarov settled in the Monastery "St. Ivan", near the village of Vetarsko, close towhere the river Pchinya flows into Vardar. From there they could control the traffic on the railway. The detachment moved from the monastery to the village of Novachene and on August 1 they derailed a military train with 32 carriages. With bombs were attacked also two posts over the bridge." Also this attack occured near Novachani, a vilage 9 km. far from the city of Veles, and 15 km. far from Skopie, not in Skopie. In fact in Skopie didn't occure any battle or attack. At that time Uskub was a center of an Ottoman vilayet, with a strong military garrison. Jingby (talk) 06:08, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I submit the next idea: I will create an article on the voivode of the band - Pushkarov and afterwards I will redirect this article there. Jingby (talk) 10:04, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
