Proposed move[edit]

I think this should be at North America and the Caribbean Handball Championship to match the name of the division named earlier this year by the IHF as North America and the Caribbean Handball Confederation. The current name is confusing – I'd immediately think it was the Northern California Handball Championship! I've seen CA for Canada and California, but never the Caribbean, and I've never seen Nor. as an abbreviation for North America, either. Jack N. Stock (talk) 13:51, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm ok with that, but let's just wait until the next championship be anounced, the people in the new confederation could keep the name Nor.Ca or simple name it First North American and Caribbean Handball Championship.Argemiro1975 (talk) 14:34, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you're right, anything could happen over the next few months. Not sure anything is certain yet based on the CAS decision. Jack N. Stock (talk) 21:08, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, let's wait. Name right now is confusing though. Kante4 (talk) 21:19, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
