I am a little confused by the boundary changes of 2005 as far as they relate to predecessor seats of the current constituency. The Boundaries section of the article states:
Prior to the 2005 election, the council areas had been covered by the Angus, Ochil, Perth and North Tayside constituencies.
Which I would take to mean the current constituency had four predecessors; Angus, Ochil, Perth and North Tayside. However, 90.213.233.209 (talk·contribs) has made an edit stating that "Angus NOT Predecessor Seat" while retaining the reference to the Angus constituency in the Boundaries section. Can someone more familiar with the area please confirm whether the four named constituencies were the predecessors to the current one? Road Wizard (talk) 19:55, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This constituency only has three predecessor seats: Perth, Ochil and North Tayside. This constituency is wholly within the Clackmannanshire and Perth & Kinross local authority areas whereas the old Angus constituency was located in the Angus local authority area, which is not covered by this constituency.
