Census Data is a Joke[edit]

That census data that says Paxton is 7.5% black is a joke. There are no blacks in Paxton, give me a break. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.229.245.83 (talk) 01:05, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Secondary Sources[edit]

As quoted from policy: Unless restricted by another policy, primary sources that have been reliably published may be used in Wikipedia; but only with care, because it is easy to misuse them.[4] Any interpretation of primary source material requires a reliable secondary source for that interpretation. A primary source may only be used on Wikipedia to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialized knowledge. For example, an article about a novel may cite passages to describe the plot, but any interpretation needs a secondary source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.248.214.124 (talk) 20:29, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The book is not even remotely important enough to be included in an encyclopedia article, let alone the article's history section. It is utterly irrelevant. However, as a compromise, how would you feel about creating a popular culture section and putting a small entry in there? Please follow WP:BRD and do not make your edit again until we reach a consensus here. Thank you. Brycehughes (talk) 20:43, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
