Logos[edit]

If anyone has access to any of the old logos from any of the previous years, it would be great if we could get them added to the article. The logo has changed over the years as much as the music styles have so it would be really interesting to feature them in the article as well. BlueGold73 (talk) 00:13, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Urge = best band ever

Can anybody tell me when the concert generally ends? It starts at 10:30 AM this year. Is there a place that tells the order the bands play in? 67.153.244.18 16:55, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Pointfest19Logo.jpg[edit]

Image:Pointfest19Logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:31, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Die Symphony[edit]

I recently added the band Die Symphony to the list of notable local St. Louis bands that had performed at Pointfest. Walter Görlitz had reverted that update but I’m not sure why. Die Symphony performed at both Pointfest 11 and 12 on the main stages. They are listed as such on the page’s pointfest lineups for confirmation. Die Symphony had a top 10 alternative radio hit throughout the US and on MTV. Just curious why the update was reverted? If you do a Google search on them it will confirm it all. If I messed up in some way adding the edit, I apologize and please let me know. Thank you! TamRoly (talk) 11:43, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@TamRoly: I explained why I reverted: "They are not major though: the don't even have an article on Wikipedia". You'll notice that all of the other entries have articles, and that usuhally implies notability. We don't want this to devolve into a list of every local band that played because I suspect that would be a very long list. Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:43, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
