Multiple locales bearing this name[edit]

The "Shtetl Seeker and Town Locator" online gazetteer gives six locales named Ordzhonikidze in the Ukraine:

  • 44°55' N / 35°20' E
  • 47°15' N / 30°12' E
  • 47°40' N / 34°03' E (this page; also cited in Where Once We Walked)
  • 48°14' N / 38°13' E (alternate name for Yenakiieve)
  • 48°24' N / 34°41' E
  • 51°09' N / 29°49' E

The mention made on the page of one "near Feodosiya, Crimea" likely refers to one of these, but which? Also, an unpublished eyewitness testimony by a WWII-era refugee, recorded in 1946 or 1947, notes an Ordzhonikidze near the Donets Basin, on which I seek confirmation. -- Deborahjay (talk) 12:21, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
