RfC at 2009 Honduran coup d'état regarding mention of the constitutional crisis in the lede[edit]

Comments are welcome at Talk:2009_Honduran_coup_d'état#RfC:_Do_the_sources_support_the_mention_of_coup_as_part_of_the_constitutional_crisis_in_the_lede_of_this_article.3F. Thanks! Moogwrench (talk) 21:14, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

The opinion polls are largely about the entire constitutional crisis, therefore Public opinion on the 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis is more appropriate as well as more neutral title. Alb28 (talk) 18:21, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is a procedure for movingCathar11 (talk) 20:34, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it is to explain the move. You haven't even denied that the title is wrong. Alb28 (talk) 23:39, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You will find the details of how to request a move here[1]Cathar11 (talk) 23:51, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
For the record the name is corect and agrees with RS.Cathar11 (talk) 23:54, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is a reason why the main article is called 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis. This article should follow the main article's naming. Public opinion on the 2009 Honduran crisis is ok too. Alb28 (talk) 02:51, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Public opinion on the 2009 Honduran coup d'étatPublic opinion on the 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis

  • Same form as in the main article 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis. There is a good reason why the main article is named 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis.
  • More neutral and better describes what the polls actually asked.

Alb28 (talk) 02:02, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak oppose. These polls do cover more than the coup, but the coup is the heart of them. Homunq (talk) 19:57, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Is there anywhere this can be merged? It doesn't seem weighty enough for its own encyclopedia article. Plus, what establishes the blog that seems to hold the point of the article together as a reliable source? Brilliantine (talk) 22:56, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose as the principal question in the polls is the manner in which Zelaya was removed in the coup d'etat.Cathar11 (talk) 23:16, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
