The title of the article[edit]

This is a proper name, MOS:PN therefore capitalization is used for each word, rather than the normal naming convention of small letters after the first word. Steve Quinn (formerly Ti-30X) (talk) 04:23, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

This edit of mine was undone twice by another editor. This article does not belong in Category:Physics and Category:Astrophysics (and the former being redundant). Also, Category:Radio telescopes is a better option than Category:Radio astronomy. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 03:22, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How is it this does not belong in Astrophysics? It could even be argued geophysics research is conducted at this facility. This is an observatory, but it is also a research facility. ---- Steve Quinn (talk) 10:06, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Astrophysics" is too generic to be categorized in. And "Physics" especially so. This is a radio telescope, the astrophysics/geophysics of it is not in the instrument, but in work done with the data provided. All radio telescopes require that the astrophysics generate radio signals, so placing it in astrophysics is redundant. 65.93.12.101 (talk) 08:46, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
