Speedy deletion

I don't understand why this page was put up for speedy deletion. I had just created it no more than 10 minutes ago. True, it is a stub right now, but I will expand it. Just because Comoros is a smaller, less populated country does not make it any less significant than religion in other, larger countries.

The reason given mentioned for speedy deletion is the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. I do not see that at all, but even so, as I stated, the page is less than an hour old. It will be expanded on. Thricecube (talk) 17:05, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
