Changing Lanes[edit]

I don't think it's legal to back up just to change lanes, unless there is no other way to avoid an obstacle.Qbert203 (talk) 04:10, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that this sounds rather dubious and have removed it from the article now. The original edit adding it also described it as "Pine Street maneuver", which I found no mentions of from a web search - at least it doesn't sound common enough to include without a source. –Sonicwave talk 21:21, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The point of this article?[edit]

What is the point of an article like this? Why not have one describing the process of walking backwards? There is almost no technical information in this article. It's mostly saying that reversing is the process of driving a car or truck backwards. Why not an article on how to turn on a water tap? Or how to turn on an electric light switch? 70.27.253.203 (talk) 00:58, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Technical information just added in this article. (Harmonization of reverse warning sound of vehicles) 2A02:8425:642:D701:BF55:9F65:2A1C:85EB (talk) 17:55, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
