Plea[edit]

This page contains similar information to a previously deleted page on Dr Richard Seal. His distinguished service to English choral music without doubt deserves a wikipedia entry: as Master of Choristers for 29 years at Salisbury Cathedral England (one of England's finest cathedrals with a rich musical tradition) he made many acclaimed recordings and BBC broadcasts, as well as founding the first ever English cathedral girls' choir. I have attempted to add references to this replacement page and will invite others with knowledge of Dr Seal's distinguished service to English choral music to provide further references and citations. I look forward to your review of this new wikipedia page.

Yes, better. I worked on style a bit. More should be added about the recordings. Especially if there were independent reviews that might silence the deletionists. It is not your opinion of importance, but the sources cited that matter. One question I had: the source indeed says that a building gave him a degree (presumably honorary). My guess is that might be shorthand for something else; did the person or an organization in that building give the degree? Ah, Lambeth degree seems to explain it. We generally try to paraphrase into more general English, which is what I will try to do. Thanks. W Nowicki (talk) 21:10, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
