Contradiction in lead[edit]

noted for his opposition to anti-evolutionism within the American Scientific Affiliation (ASA), and for his advocacy of progressive creationism.

This makes no sense - he is either a creationists or an evolutionist. He can't be both opposed to anti-evolutionism and an advocate of progressive creationism. Jezhotwells (talk) 17:49, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that whilst "leading the ASA away", he 'got off the train' before it went all the way to Theistic Evolution (as did a number of others of the more conservative wing of the ASA).
