@Upwinxp: Yes, soup is ciorbă , but singer is Ciorba. See, e.g., CD cover, where Sandu is Ciorba, but Nicolae is Guță, i.e., you cannot say that diacritics is lost by ignorant gadje. Staszek Lem (talk) 17:38, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Staszek Lem, thanks for the cover. The place where I got to know the guy was referring to him as "Sandu Ciorbă" (and so do some other Wikipedias), so I've always thought that's his real name. —Upwinxp (talk) 20:38, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
